Greeting Cards Instructions:

 

Follow these easy instructions to create a bi-fold card with Mead's Glossy Greeting Card Kit.

Choose a Template
The Templates page allows you to download a variety of greeting card outsides & insides preformatted in Microsoft Word format.

To download templates:
Download should begin simply by clicking the template thumbnail image.
If there is a problem downloading with this method, right-click on the thumbnail image.
A pop-up menu will appear. Choose either "Save Target As" or "Save this link as..." depending on your browser.
Type a file name in the dialog box and click "Save".

You may download images from the Clip Art page.

To download clip art images:
Right-Click on the image. (If using Macintosh or single button mouse, click and hold down the button.) A pop-up menu will appear. Choose either "Save Target As" or "Save this link as..." depending on your browser.
Type a file name in the dialog box and click "Save".

Build Your Card
The final step is to assemble and print your bi-fold greeting card using Microsoft Word.

Here's how... Open Microsoft Word.
Open your downloaded template.
Begin adapting layout by selecting text and editing. Adjust font, font size, style and alignment.

Text Formating Help

Click on the existing image in the template. A box will appear around it when selected.
Pull down the "Insert" menu. Move the mouse pointer to "Picture" to reveal a side menu. From this submenu, choose "From File...".

Find your graphic and click "Insert".
You are now ready to print your card.

Preparing Your Glossy Greeting Card Envelope.

Follow these instructions if you choose to print your envelopes.
In Microsoft Word select "Tools", "Envelopes and Labels"
Click on the "Envelopes" tab.
Click on "Options" or on the envelope graphic.
Choose "Custom Size..." from the pull-down menu.
Set the width to 8.75" and the height to 5.75"
Click "OK".
Click on the "Printing
Options" tab
Click on the "feed"
graphic to choose how you would like your envelope to feed through your printer. Envelope direction is represented by the six icons. Also choose whether you would like it to feed "face up" or "face down." Click "OK" when finished. Now type in the "Delivery Address" and "Return Address" in their respective text boxes.
Choose "Print" to print this envelope immediately, or "Add to Document" to create an envelope layout in Word
